Tooker, George

(1920-2011)

Brooklyn born painter and printmaker known for his edgy realistic style---I had the privelege of speaking with Mr. Tooker several years ago. He was gracious as he answered all of my questions about his work. He will surely be remembered as one of the greatest artists In the 2nd half of the 20th century.
