IFPDA PRINT FAIR (FINE ART PRINT FAIR)
Location: PARK AVENUE ARMORY
This in person show marks the return of the Print Fair to its original location at the PARK AVENUE ARMORY (Park Avenue and 66th Street) New York. The hours for the fair are as follows: Thursday, March 27, 2025 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM (Paid and VIP preview)------ Friday, March 28,2025 --11:00 AM to 7:00 PM------- Saturday, March 29, 2025-- 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM------- Sunday, March 30, 2025 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM---------We will feature American prints from the 1930's including many works from various WPA projects as well as works by George Bellows, Thomas Hart Benton, Glenn O. Coleman, Howard Cook, Mabel Dwight, Don Freeman, Isac Friedlander, Wanda Gag, Martin Lewis, Louis Lozowick, Harry Mack, Kyra Markham, Angelo Pinto, John Sloan, Raphael Soyer,(EARLY HAND COLORED LITHOGRAPHS), Benton Spruance, and Grant Wood. Other items of note are the following: Ivan Albright -"Three Love Birds"---THOMAS HART BENTON The complete Missouri Capitol Series:"Frankie and Johnnie", "Huck Finn", and "Jesse James" , & "Wreck of the Ol '97" --- Gerald Brockhurst - "Adolescence"---Letterio Calapai-"Labor in a Diesel Plant"-Howard Cook- "Hudson River Bridge & "Lower Manhattan"---John DeMartelly- "Hayride" & "White Pastures---Rockwell Kent "Godspeed" and "The Lovers"---Paul Landacre "Counterpoint" and several rare prints by the artist--- MARTIN LEWIS- "Glow of the City", Break in the Thunderstorm" and "Bay Windows"(over thirty works in total) ---Benton Spruance, "Forward Pass"---Grant Wood - "Approaching Storm and "February"-- A lovely group of French color prints done c. 1900 including work by Drian, Gatier, Helleu, Jenniot, Legrand, Muller, Osterlind, Ranft, Robbe, and Villon. An expanded offering of British and European prints with several fine images by Bonnard, Brockhurst, Laboureur, Tissot, and Zorn. Over 200 black and white woodcuts and wood engravings including a a large group by Rockwell Kent. We will also have a large contingent of color woodcuts by ELEANOR BEATRICE ACKER, many of which are editions of only five impressions and are being sold with the original woodblocks.
