Ganso, Emil

(1895-1941)

Born in Germany, he emigrated to the United States in approximately 1910. He went on to a relatively short career (he died at 46 years of age) but produced a large body of paintings and prints. He became friends with the French artist Jules Pascin and produced many beautiful female nude paintings and prints.
