Rushing, Melinda Ruth

Formerly of Texas, Dr Melinda Rushing (PHD in public health and also a Masters degree in social work) is also a multi-talented artist. Now living in Detroit, she is actively persuing her interest in printmaking especially in linocuts. She was recently juried into the prestigious Scarab club exhibition where her entry sold on opening night. As a relatively young African-American woman, she will soon become a familiar name to collectors.
