An important early work signed upper right. One of the artist's signature subjects (rooftops), this painting was awarded a prize at the inaugural exhibition for Pepsi Cola Paintings of the Year. It was illustrated on the cover of ART NEWS MAGAZINE, AUGUST, 1944. In the original frame.
