Signed lower right--the artist who was friends with the Soyer brothers(Moses & Raphael)
demonstrates his treatment of this popular subject. He later went on to be an Art Director
for Universal Studios in Hollywood. According to his son he exhibited very little but his
paintings were very much in demand by those who knew him.
