Mosely, Jimmy

(1927-1974)

African-American artist born in Lakeland, Florida, he later studied art at Texas State University (Texas Southern) where he was the first student to graduate with a degree in art education. He later became the first chairman of the art department at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore.
