Yaeger, Edgar

(1904-1997)

Detroit born painter active in his native city. He studied in his late 20's in Paris under the tutelage of Andre L’hote, Marcel Gromaire and Orthon Friesz. He returned to Detroit in 1935 and worked on the WPA program where he created murals which still exist today.
