A fine impression of this very topical image with slight mat stain in the margins outside of the image---done for the NYC-WPA---coincidentally, this is number 4500 for my website. A piece of information was provided today by an astute collector about the sitter in this lithograph. The person depicted is Selman Waksman, an award winning microbiologist who also graced the cover of Time magazine. He also won the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine 1952
