Streeter, Donald (Born 1905)
Donald Streeter was a printmaker during the era of the great depression. Among his oeuvres were block prints, lithographs, and drawings on the theme of men out of work and homeless.Streeter was born in Vineland, NJ, in 1905. He studied at the Pennsylvania Museum School of Industrial Art, the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, and the Art Students League in New York. He was a member of the Philadelphia Print Club where he also exhibited and was awarded a prize in 1932.
